About Me
My journey to becoming a mental health practitioner had many twists and turns. After school, I initially completed a Fine Arts degree. Although I love art and enjoy my creative side, being an artist was not ME. I searched, tried, and even failed a couple of times. I learned much about myself and who I wanted to be along the way.
Only when I started studying for a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences later in my life did my seemingly diverse interests and skills begin to align. I then continued my studies to eventually qualify as a Registered Counselor and later as a Psychometrist. I now practice in Stellenbosch and use my innate creativity and open-mindedness to listen to other people’s journeys, help them recognise the potential of their past triumphs and challenges, and work with them to craft a plan for their life’s journey.
